NO SHOT+ is a pre-workout supplement in ready-to-drink shots, based on L-arginine, ß-alanine, L-ornithine and fructose.

Arginine is an amino acid used by the tissues to obtain nitric oxide, a substance that allows to convey a greater quantity of oxygen and nutrients to the muscle through an increase in the flow of blood to the tissue. Arginine also contributes to the synthesis of creatine, used by the body to regenerate energy (as ATP) during the first seconds of muscle contraction.

Beta alanine is a non-essential amino acid used by muscle cells to synthesize carnosine. Carnosine is able to increase energy production (ATP) through various oxidative processes that take place inside the cells and to exert a valuable antioxidant action, which allows to protect intra-cellular proteins from oxidation. In addition, it acts as a buffer on intracellular metabolic acidosis: carnosine, normally stored inside the cells, is in fact released when there are decreases in pH due, for example, to the production of lactic acid during exercise.
Finally, ornithine participates in the urea cycle and contributes to the elimination of ammonia deriving from the protein catabolism induced by physical activity.
